2 sockeye salmon filets 1 lime juiced 1/2 c Soy Sauce 2 Tbls Brown Sugar 2 Tbls Hoison 1 tsp fresh ginger minced 2 cloves fresh garlic minced
Mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin, garlic, and ginger together in a sauce pan
Bring the mixture to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer constantly mixing the glaze until reduced (10 minutes)
Pull the glaze off the heat and add the lime juice stirring to mix through
Soak the cedar planks for 2 hours in water
Preheat your grill to 350°
Add the cedar planks to the grilling for 3 minutes then flip over
Place sockeye salmon filets on the planks skin side down
Cook for 20 minutes adding the glaze to the salmon the last 5 minutes
