Ingredients
  

  • 2 sockeye salmon filets
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1/2 c Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbls Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tbls Hoison
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger minced
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic minced

Instructions
 

  • Mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin, garlic, and ginger together in a sauce pan
  • Bring the mixture to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer constantly mixing the glaze until reduced (10 minutes)
  • Pull the glaze off the heat and add the lime juice stirring to mix through
  • Soak the cedar planks for 2 hours in water
  • Preheat your grill to 350°
  • Add the cedar planks to the grilling for 3 minutes then flip over
  • Place sockeye salmon filets on the planks skin side down
  • Cook for 20 minutes adding the glaze to the salmon the last 5 minutes
  • Serve and enjoy
