This recipe for mushroom bourbon cream sauce pairs perfectly with grilled steak. If you want to add some deliciousness to your next grilled steak, make this sauce!
  • 1 lb Mushrooms
  • ¾ cup bourbon
  • ¾ heavy cream
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 Tbs olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  1. Preheat a cast iron pan over your lit charcoal
  2. Add 1 Tbs of olive to the pan
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute (be careful not to burn)
  4. Add the mushrooms and stir well, cook for a few minutes until browned and soft
  5. Add the bourbon and light on fire to burn off the alcohol
  6. After a minute or two add the cream and stir well
  7. Let this cook until reduced by ½ (about 10 minutes, but you will know when done)
  8. Add seasoning to taste and serve over grilled beef
