Memorial Day Entertaining With Char-Broil

The Char-Broil Commercial 4-burner Grill

As Mrs. Buddha and I settle into our new home in Louisville, KY we are now in close proximity to her family. In addition, you know we love cooking & entertaining and try to do so whenever we can. After a recent visit to her parents, we noticed they were in need of a new grill. Thankfully the Char-Broil Commercial 4-burner grill was the perfect fit for their needs. Having this grill set up at their house allows us to both cook and entertain in style!

Lighting this grill could not be any easier with the built-in electronic ignition. Gone are the days where you have to use a lighter or match on a stream of propane risking life and limb to get the grill started. This grill lights with a single push of the button every single time.

In addition, you never have to guess when you are low on propane as this grill comes with a fuel tank gauge that is easy to read. If you ever want to hook this grill up to a natural gas line running to your outdoor kitchen you are in luck at the grill is dual fuel enabled.

Cooking with Char-Broil

The TRU-Infrared system is by far my favorite feature of this grill. This creates a barrier between the heat source and the food, distributing heat evenly and getting rid of hot and cold spots. This mimics the efficiency you get with charcoal grills allowing for even (and high heat) distribution to the entire cooking surface.

With 4 burners I am able to create multiple zones to cook rib eye steaks (high heat), shrimp and sausages (medium heat), and vegetables (low heat).

The same barrier that helps distribute the heat evenly with infrared heat catches the drippings from the food you are cooking eliminating flare-ups. The smoke created by the drippings is turned back on to your food adding incredible flavor to whatever you are cooking.

Grilling with Char-Broil

Getting this grill up to a high enough temperature to sear steaks is no problem with this Char-Broil.

The high heat produced by the infrared barrier ensures your meat is up to 50% juicier when compared to other gas grills because it takes less time to cook, enabling you to retain all the moisture.

Grilling burgers or chicken wings is easy to do on this grill as you avoid the usual flare-ups that come with cooking high-fat foods.
